“Women’s Work: Shaping Healthcare in the Rural Midwest,” a new exhibit at the Wangensteen Historical Library of Biology and Medicine (WHL), highlights the roles women played in keeping their families healthy and how they stayed educated about food safety at a time when knowledge about food and nutrition were rapidly changing.
