: For Students, Faculty, and Staff 
Kerry Klungtvedt recently joined the Friends of the Sherlock Holmes Collections at the University of Minnesota and in exchange for his membership, he asked Tim Johnson, curator of the collections, to visit Rushford-Peterson Schools and present to students about the legendary detective during National Reading Month.
“They’re reading a variety of things,” Klungtvedt told KIMT TV, a CBS affiliate that serves Iowa and Minnesota. “I think they’re going to beef up their offerings of Sherlock Holmes for the fall is part of what the connection is here. He’s giving the librarian here some samples and some ideas for that.”
Said Johnson: “This was a lot of fun for me to engage the kids in question and answer and find out what they liked and knew about the Holmes stories, to share a little bit more about what I love about the Sherlock Holmes tales.”
The Sherlock Holmes Collections at the University of Minnesota Libraries constitute the world’s largest gathering of material related to Sherlock Holmes and his creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
