We will be traveling to and hosting a table at the Weisman Art Museum for their monthly study night on Wednesday, October 15 from 5-8pm – “Are you looking for somewhere to meet fellow art nerds? Come to the WAM Collective’s first Study Night of the semester on October 15 from 5-8PM. We’ve got tea, a journal decorating station, and a WAM-collection collage-making activity to get those relaxing, creative juices flowing in between study sessions.”
The theme is connected to the current exhibit Librería Donceles. Librería Donceles is a social-practice art project by Mexico-born, New York-based artist/educator Pablo Helguera. It takes the form of an itinerant Spanish-language used bookstore and event space.
We will host a pop-up library of fun books and translations, activities and more. Study nights feature seasonal art-making activities and chill vibes for catching up on your work, or just to socialize with friends. Free! All are welcome! No registration required. Free and open to all students.
