Did you make a New Year’s resolution to diet? If so, you might want to get some perspective by looking at the Diets Through the Decades exhibit I just put up in the entryway of Magrath Library using books and pamphlets from the Kirschner Collection. There’s everything from the cottage cheese diet to the gelatin diet to the Bronx diet. Here’s a particularly mid-century gem:
