Refreshing the Veterinary Medical Library

By February 5, 2020September 16th, 2023No Comments

If you have been around the Veterinary Medical Library recently, it is likely that you’ve heard the sounds of construction.

“The library is gearing up for a refresh that will add furniture and update spaces to support all types of learning,” says André Nault, Veterinary Medical Librarian.

As part of the preparation, shelving has been relocated and heating and cooling systems are being reworked. A fresh coat of paint, new study rooms, and a variety of soft seating will make the library a welcoming space for learning and research.

You can expect to see the full updates in place by fall 2020.

Book shelving has been removed and the HVAC system is being updated. The floors will be polished to prepare the room for new study spaces.

Three group study rooms will be added, along with a variety of soft seating options.

New standing and soft seating options will support different work preferences.
