Basic dental suturing : a practical handbook
This book is a concise resource for understanding the myriad suturing options available to dentists today. It includes recently developed suturing concepts pertinent to both conventional oral surgery and oral microsurgery. The text is supplemented with step-by-step drawings and photographs of the various techniques performed on an animal model, which once mastered can be readily applied in a clinical setting. The final chapter discusses the management of the occasional complications encountered during and after surgery.

Oral health in America : removing the stain of disparity
Oral Health in America details inequities to an oral health care system that disproportionately affects the poor, those without insurance, underrepresented and underserved communities, the disabled, and senior citizens. This book addresses issues in workforce development including the use of dental therapists, the rationale for the development of racially/ethnically diverse providers, and the lack of public support through Medicaid, which would guarantee access and also provide a rationale for building a system, one that takes into account the impact of a lack of visionary and inclusive leadership on the nation’s ability to insure health justice for all.

Sustainable Dentistry: Making a Difference
This book provides the why, what and how on delivering a sustainable dental practice. Dentists have a professional duty to support optimal oral health. They also have a moral duty to do so in a way that leaves the smallest footprint on this planet and takes their impacts on the environment and society into account. This book helps the reader to develop a sustainable practice, driven by prevention and delivering the right care at the right time and at the right place, within systems of universal, needs-based access to care. Readers learn how to opt for a practice that is supplied with sustainable energy and encourages biodiversity while building models of care that maximize remote patient engagement and avoid travel. Clear guidance is given on responsible decontamination, waste management and environmentally sensitive ways of managing people with anxiety or behavioral difficulties within the dental setting. The future of dentistry products and innovations to reduce environmental impacts in the dental practice are discussed. This book is a must-have for dentists, dental students and all members of the dental team.

Statistics for dental clinicians
Statistics for Dental Clinicians helps dental practitioners to understand and interpret the scientific literature and apply the concepts to their clinical practice. Written using clear, accessible language, the book breaks down complex statistical and study design principles and demonstrates how statistics can inform clinical practice.

3D printing in dentistry 2019/2010
The invention of 3D printing technology and its microprecision products are revolutionizing the way dentistry is practiced. However, as with any new technology, many clinicians are uncertain of where to start. The purpose of this book is to arm clinicians with what they need to know to incorporate 3D printing into daily practice.

Use of Fluoride in Dentistry
This book presents fluoride as a key preventive and therapeutic agent in dentistry. It is a controversial issue, although very robust scientific evidence supports that the appropriate use of fluoride can help strengthen enamel and reduce the risk of dental caries with a minimal risk of dental fluorosis. With its ability to promote remineralization and protect against cavities, fluoride plays a vital role in maintaining long-term oral health, reducing the prevalence of cavities in communities and reducing the burden of caries in an individual. It can be safely delivered through various methods, such as toothpaste, mouth rinses, professional varnishes, or water fluoridation, making it accessible and effective for populations worldwide.
