*new* Search to Synthesis: Library Research Workshops for Graduate Students

We’re excited to launch “Search to Synthesis: Library Research Workshops for Graduate Students” in fall 2025. These workshops are geared towards graduate and professional students but are open to all UMN faculty, instructors, students, post-docs, researchers and staff. Most are held online via zoom.

These workshops are FREE and relevant to all disciplines. Topics include

  • getting set up for success as *new* grad students
  • academic publishing how-tos
  • archival research
  • citation managers
  • evidence synthesis/systematic reviews
  • generative AI tools for research and writing
  • reading scholarly articles and literature reviews
  • tools for staying current with journals in your disciplines
