In mid-January, the hottest place to be is the Walter Library! The Writing Across the Curriculum Program and University Libraries warmly invite UMN faculty members, graduate instructors, and teaching assistants to join us for a productive and collaborative day focused on teaching and supporting students with researching, reading, and writing.
Register nowThe rapid rise of Generative AI technologies has influenced how we approach teaching and learning. Throughout our opening and closing sessions and during our interactive workshops, we will consider the role that these technologies might increasingly play in our courses along with ways to support students with learning and practicing essential competencies in searching for, reading through, and writing about sources.
We welcome instructors developing research-oriented assignments in specific courses, along with departmental teams considering research across the curriculum. Spread the word, bring your laptops, and come with questions and ideas to share. Enjoy collegial exchange, a buffet lunch and showcase of library resources, all while gearing up for the Spring semester.
