We will be traveling to and hosting a table at the Weisman Art Museum for their monthly study night on Wednesday, April 15 from 4-6pm.
The theme is WAM Jams. “Wam Jams is back with a specially-tailored Spring Jam to meet you where you’re at and remind you that joy is, in fact, still possible. Bring your friends, your half-finished assignments, or your worn out winter sweater [for mending]. Leave with a more relaxed nervous system, a full stomach, and a renewed sense of hope.”
We will host a pop-up library of fun books, tips for relaxation and getting it done at the end of the semester. We will share details from sewing and craft zones at the Makerspaces in Walter and the Health Sciences Libraries including including sewing, embroidery, and overlocking machines. Various sewing and embroidery thread, embroidery stabilizer, fabric scraps are available.
