Take a study break on Friday, April 11 from 3:15-4:30 p.m. and learn about the unique archival collections in Andersen Library on the west bank.We are also celebrating National Library Week. The University of Minnesota has rich collections of archives in collections including the history of the University to children’s literature to African American literature to immigration history and more – even Sherlock Holmes!

Take this opportunity to get an introduction to these collections, Andersen Library and more. We will start in Andersen Library room 120 for an overview then, go on a short Cavern tour (the two-story high caverns were excavated from the limestone bluffs of the Mississippi River, and extend the length of two football fields) and next explore the current exhibits including Making Room: Women’s Histories From the Northwest Architectural Archives.
