Join the University of Minnesota Archives at an Open House event to mark the opening of the exhibit, “Beyond the Page: Preserving the Spirit of the University Through an Independent Student Press” at Elmer L. Andersen Library on Wednesday, Oct. 15, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Tour the exhibit on the second and third floor hallways. Join archivists Katelyn Morken and Rebecca Toov in Givens suite 120 to view original records from the Ariel and The Minnesota Daily Student Newspaper and Magazine collection.

Learn how to access, search, and engage with the history of the University of Minnesota through the pages of the student newspaper and beyond.

This open house event is free and open to everyone! Registration is optional. If you’d like to receive a reminder email before the event, please register.
