November 1 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free
Cranberry stem drawing

Do you like cozy fall foliage? How about gothic or maybe even eerie botanical images? In this hands-on drawing workshop in the atmospheric Upson room in Walter Library (room 102), get introduced to the world of botanical art through an exploration of Andersen Horticultural Library’s collection (at the UMN Arboretum in Chaska, Minnesota).

We will begin with an introduction to botanical art then the drawing will begin with exercises that emphasize the importance of looking closely at intricate details of natural autumnal specimens. Free. All are welcome! Bring a friend! No registration required.
