Promotional image for exhibit Disembodied ReembodiedDisembodied Reembodied, a new exhibit at the Wangensteen Historical Library, addresses medical depictions of women’s bodies in the library collection and will also feature take-home zines and interactive online content. Disembodied/Reembodied is a collaborative project between artist-in-residence Jenny Schmid, Wangensteen Historical Library of Biology & Medicine curators Emily Beck and Lois Hendrickson, and Clinical Ethics Assistant Professor Jaime Konerman-Sease.

This project is funded by the inaugural 2024 RIO artist in residence grant supporting art and science collaboration.

Exhibit location and building access

The exhibit will be available to view at the Wangensteen Historical Library, 2-340 Phillips-Wangensteen Building (PWB) second floor concourse, from Oct. 24, 2024 through Feb. 28, 2025 during building hours.

The Phillips-Wangensteen Building (PWB) is located at 516 Delaware Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455.
