Expanding Student Expression and Research through Course Integrated Student-Created Media Projects

In this session, instructors and technologists will explore possibilities for integrating a rich student-created media assignment into your curriculum. This hour-long active learning session will include an overview of real-world student-media assignment examples supported by Media Services, campus media support services, curriculum mapping media assignments to course learning objectives, and commonly used assessment criteria for media projects. The second hour will allow participants to actively begin brainstorming and drafting a media project for their course contexts.
