Need to get caught up from the busy week? Need motivation to turn your Friday afternoon into a key part of your homework routine? Want to make the sunday scaries be less scary? Come to Walter Library anytime from 1:30-4 for a relaxed yet productive study time at the Friday Finish.
What is it like? Who is it for?
- Take time to relax, finish up work from the week, get a start on weekend homework or plan ahead for next week.
- All students are welcome. Study solo or bring a friend
- Find your perfect study spot with hundreds of individual and group study spaces (reserve a study room)
- Drop in to fast-track your finish >>> with peer tutors for research, writing, MATH, CHEM, and more<<<
- Classes with tutoring during Friday Finish include ACCT 2051, AEM 2011, BIOL 4003, 4004; CHEM 1062, CI 1806 ; ECON 1101, 1102; MATH 1151, 1271, 1272, 2263; PHYS 1301W, 1221 ; R Help (Statistics). STAT 3011, 1001 and WRIT 1301 (view tutoring schedules and book appointments)
- Get help with doing research, finding sources and writing papers
- We will have a creative study break each week like button making, bracelet making, and more or make something in the Toaster.
- Free coffee, snacks and treats from M Food Co
- We will have fun reading books to read or check out.
