Homecoming 2025 is almost here. The UMN Libraries will host a few tables at the the new Homecoming Block Party at the U on the Mall in front of Walter Library on Monday, October 6 starting at 4pm.

The UMN Libraries will have a button-making craft station with the Toaster Innovation Hub. We will showcase campus and Homecoming history from the UMN Archives including images and yearbooks. View historic photos of Homecoming decorations, Parade, the Marching Band, football and more.

Kick off Homecoming 2025 the right way at the Homecoming 2025 Block Party! Join us on Monday, October 6, from 4-10 p.m. at Northrop Mall and Coffman Front Plaza for an evening packed with Gopher spirit, free food, and nonstop fun!

Here’s what’s waiting for you:

• Free eats from the St. Paul Meat & Dairy Labs and other local vendors.
• Tie-dye your own UMN shirt and sign the official Homecoming banner.
• Yard games to play with fellow Gophers.
• A high-energy DJ set from Sophia Eris at 8:30 p.m. to close the night with a dance party.
• RYZE is serving up free matcha, coffee, and chai lattes.
• Affinity Plus is teaming up with Special Olympics athletes to chat about the 2026 USA Games and give out free prizes.
• Sunna is offering free exercise classes—just try a pilates move to join in!
• Coca-Cola will be on-site with free beverage samples.
• The Student Organic Farm will be providing fresh vegetables to try.
