ONLINE: Reviews, rejections, and revisions: The peer review experience

February 26 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free
Frustrated person working at a laptop.

Imagine: You submitted your paper to the journal of your choice. You know you did high quality research and felt good about your paper. Then you get peer review comments that make you question whether you should even be in your field at all. It’s okay!

This workshop will teach you how to respond to peer reviewer comments and make your paper even stronger before you resubmit it. We will also cover how you can be a good peer reviewer of other researchers’ work.

This session is part of our Nuts & Bolts of Academic Publishing series. These are aimed at students who are at any stage of their graduate program, new faculty and instructors and are looking for more information on all stages of the publishing process. The focus will be on publishing in scholarly journals. All disciplines are welcome.
