Writing a literature review requires identifying relationships, patterns, and trends among the different sources on a topic and weaving them together into a unique understanding of the topic (otherwise known as analysis and synthesis). This workshop will cover: screening and reading articles efficiently, using organizational tools (research logs and tables, tags, annotated bibliographies) to summarize and surface connections between sources, and practicing a formula for writing your lit review.

This workshops are aimed at master or PhD students who are at any stage of their graduate program, post-docs, researchers, instructors, new faculty or anyone with questions on literature reviews. Open to all disciplines. Free.
