Transfer students….ready to end the semester strong? Learn about peer tutoring and academic services for you as we head into the end of the semester AND pet away worry and stress with the PAWS dogs, cat and chicken!

Join us on Thursday, April 10 anytime from 11:30-1:30 for a joint event at Wilson Library (west bank) with PAWS (Pet Away Worry and Stress) from UMN Boynton Health and the Transfer Student Experience office.

Drop in at any time to meet registered therapy animal teams—including dogs, cats, chickens, and other therapy animals. Transfer students–stop by a table to learn more about getting connected to resources all over campus!

Sessions are FREE and open to the University of Minnesota community. All are welcome!!

Boynton Health’s PAWS program provides Animal-Assisted Interactions (AAI) with registered therapy animals – including dogs, cats, and chickens – and a licensed clinical social worker staffs each session. While these sessions are not therapy, they are certainly therapeutic and part of the University’s initiative to support student mental health. PAWS is a safe, welcoming, and fun setting that is open and FREE to everyone who is part of the University of Minnesota community. No appointment needed, and students are invited to attend PAWS as often as they can throughout the school year to interact with the therapy animals, their handlers, and other attendees.
