Have you ever been curious about what medical devices looked like throughout history? Or how they used things like bone saws, skull borers, and rib shears? Step into the Wangensteen Historical Library and watch medical history come alive! Join us to explore the connection between the written and the tactile as we use some of our 8,000 artifacts to bring images and manuals in our collection to life.

Whether you’re interested in history, medicine, art, or anything in between, Pop Up Off the Page has something for everyone. This event will take you on a journey from the 1600s to the 1900s, allowing you a special look into some of the oddest and most interesting devices and practices. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to watch history come alive at the Wangensteen Historical Library on March 28th from 11:30am – 1:30pm!
