Join the Wangensteen Historical Library, the Center for Premodern Studies, and the Oakeshott Institute for a pop up event! Explore secret knowledge, medieval alchemy, and the intersection of science and magic by interacting with a wide range of historical books along with centuries-old medieval swords. This pop up is offered in conjunction with a CPS lecture by Dr. Mike Ryan (History, University of New Mexico) entitled “Sharing Secret Information: The Conservation and Application of Late Medieval Occult Knowledge.”
