Queer & Trans Zine Conference

The Queer & Trans Zine Conference will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Elmer L. Andersen Library, home of the Tretter Collection in GLBT Studies. This all-day, in-person conference takes place in conjunction with the Midwest Queer & Trans Zine Fest, held at Open Book in downtown Minneapolis, Oct. 19-20.

About the conference

The inaugural conference is free and open to the public. Registration is required to ensure enough space for all attendees and to have adequate catering. There will be tea, coffee, and light bites for breakfast available and a catered lunch. We do expect attendees to be present for the full day conference. Registration is limited, so please only register if you can join us for the day.

Below is a brief overview of the day’s schedule. There will be breaks between speakers.
