The Weisman Art Museum is celebrating the new school year with Weisman Kickback and the U of M Libraries will be there! Stop by our table to explore a pop-up library and find out more about using the Libraries’ “artistic” collections – from our Makerspaces (with free sticker and button making, 3D printing and sewing machines), to DIY craft and nature books, to streaming music and documentaries and more. Learn about our Libraries spaces for studying and inspiration. We will also be celebrating Walter Library’s 100 birthday.

Catch live music from Emily and the Space Butterflies, Soulflower and Scarlet Demore. Pull your own screen-printed tote bag with Bohemian Press, dance with Radio K  DJs, strike a pose in a photobooth, and learn how to tuft a rug with Minneapolis-based artists, Kiera the Creator and Taneeka Jackson. Get involved with student-led groups on campus during the tabling fair.

The event is free and open to all students and the public.
