We will be hosting a UMN Libraries table at Row the Vote's Voterpalooza on Tuesday, October 22nd from 11-1. We will be hosting voter button making, stickers and can help answer voting question. Did you know the Libraries have tools to help you research candidates and issues?
Drop in anytime during the hour to learn about Gravity Sketch VR, a 3D modeling program where you sketch in virtual and mixed reality. These sketches can be exported to CAD software, Unity 3D projects or 3D printed. This workshop is for anyone interested in design or virtual reality.
Please join us for the 49th annual Kerlan Award, honoring Lisa Yee, the award-winning author of more than 20 books for children and young adults including her recent titles, Maizy Chen's Last Chance and The Misfits. The child of two public school teachers, Lisa Yee is a third-generation Chinese American. Born and raised in Los Angeles, her groundbreaking book, Millicent Min, Girl Genius, features one of the first Asian American protagonists in contemporary children's literature.
