Disembodied Reembodied, a new exhibit at the Wangensteen Historical Library, addresses medical depictions of women’s bodies in the library collection and will also feature take-home zines and interactive online content. The Phillips-Wangensteen Building (PWB) requires either a U Card (for UMN affiliates) or an appointment confirmation for access.

The Kerlan Collection contains over 100 years of children’s picture book history. Join us on a journey that takes you from the iconic W.E.B. Du Bois’ Brownies’ Book to the Caldecott Award-winning “Snowy Day” to the work of Ezra Jack Keats Award recipients. The exhibit spans galleries on four floors, illuminating the diversity of children’s picture books.

Artist-led tours of ‘Flora & Fauna Illustrata’ at the Minneapolis Central Library

Meet some of the artists who have been working on “Flora and Fauna Illustrata.” Tour the exhibit with the artists and learn more about this long-term project to document the plants and animals living at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum! We are pleased to offer two separate one-hour artist-led tours of the exhibition.
