With no prior knowledge required, in this workshop you will learn basic techniques in Unity for creating your own VR environments. We will work from templates and design a simple interaction, and you will learn how to connect a VR headset to Unity to preview your environment.

You will also learn how you can borrow a VR headset if you decide to make this part of your strategy. We will be traveling to and hosting a table at the Weisman Art Museum for their monthly study night on Wednesday, March 25 from 5pm-8pm.
The theme is "Social Study: Yes New Friends." In collaboration with the UMN Transfer Student Club and Tau Sigma, this Study Night, hosted by WAM Collective, is basically engineered for new-friend energy. Join us for a look at Embodied Labs, a VR app that simulates what it is like to have vision and hearing loss, Alzheimer's Dementia, to go through the dying process, to experience the defining moments of a trans woman's life, or to experience social isolation as an older adult.
