In 2022, the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) released a memo requiring that all federal funding agencies implement policies for immediate sharing of publications and data for their grantees by December 31, 2025. The Department of Energy and National Institutes of Health (NIH) have already implemented this requirement. What does this mean for data management practices during the lifecycle of your research project? What must you write into a grant application? How do you know when and where to share your publications and data? All of these topics and more will be explored in this session.
It is important to choose the right type of synthesis for your research questions. In this workshop, learn about various review methodologies like systematic reviews, scoping reviews, rapid reviews, and other types of evidence syntheses.

You submitted your paper to the journal of your choice. You know you did high quality research and felt good about your paper. Until you get peer review comments that make you question whether you should even be in your field at all. It’s okay! This workshop will teach you how to respond to peer reviewer comments and make your paper even stronger before you resubmit it. We will also cover how you can be a good peer reviewer of other researchers’ work.
