The theme is connected to the current exhibit Librería Donceles. Librería Donceles is a social-practice art project by Mexico-born, New York-based artist/educator Pablo Helguera. It takes the form of an itinerant Spanish-language used bookstore and event space.

In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to use Bodyswaps, a tool for UMN students, staff and faculty to practice job interview skills and other interpersonal skills. This can be a start of your self-paced journey to become more confident applying for jobs and internships! Bodyswaps uses virtual reality to place you in a realistic setting where you talk to an avatar, and it can give you feedback such as whether you're coming off too confident or not confident enough. It tracks your head movements and body posture to give you advice about non-verbal communication.

The event is free and open to all. You do NOT need to have a RecWell membership or be part of RecWell’s Fit pass program. Bring a yoga mat, if possible, or there will be some available to use. All are welcome including students, staff and faculty.

Bring your broken clothes or other textiles, and we'll teach you how to mend them in this three-hour Mend-a-thon! No experience needed, and materials are provided. Drop in any time during the workshop and we'll help you give new life to your well-loved garments!

We will have a creative study break each week like button making, bracelet making, and more or make something in the Toaster. Free snacks and treats. We will have fun reading books to read or check out.
