ONLINE: Introduction to Zotero (collect, organize and cite PDFs)

Virtual Event

Meet with fellow learners on Zoom and learn how to use Zotero to create your own database of citations, PDFs, images, webpages, video and audio files and more. Zotero can then be used to create citations in a large number of citation styles (APA, MLA, CSE, endnotes, footnotes, etc.) which can be added to Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Libre Office. Zotero is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, annotate, cite, and share research. The workshop is open to all disciplines.

ONLINE: Reviews, rejections, and revisions: The peer review experience

Virtual Event

Imagine: You submitted your paper to the journal of your choice. You know you did high quality research and felt good about your paper. Then you get peer review comments that make you question whether you should even be in your field at all. It's okay!

This workshop will teach you how to respond to peer reviewer comments and make your paper even stronger before you resubmit it. We will also cover how you can be a good peer reviewer of other researchers' work.
