The Elmer L. Andersen Library is located on the West Bank of the Twin Cities Campus of the University of Minnesota.

This state-of-the-art facility houses many of the University’s special collections and archives units, the Digital Library Services’ digitization center, the central office of the MINITEX Library Information Network, and the Minnesota Library Access Center (MLAC).

Take a study break on Friday, April 11 from 3:15-4:30 p.m. and learn about the unique archival collections in Andersen Library. Take this opportunity to get an introduction to these collections, Andersen Library and more. We will start in Andersen Library room 120 for an overview then, go on a short Cavern tour and next explore the current exhibits.

Librarians and Social Justice: ‘Change the Subject’ documentary screening and panel discussion

Please join us for an in-person screening of the documentary “Change the Subject,” on April 21, 3-4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served! The documentary is also available online to view for free any time at the Change the Subject website. After the screening, from 4 to 5:30 p.m., a panel of U of M librarians will discuss the film and their social justice work from. The panel discussion will be streamed in the screening room space for in-person attendees and on Zoom webinar for remote attendees.
