Founded in 1965, the Immigration History Research Center & Archives is the oldest and largest institution devoted to preserving and understanding immigration experiences. Visit our 50th anniversary exhibit to explore ideas of immigration and race and ethnicity, as we share our own story of creating and developing an archives to make possible a wide variety of research.
