In summer 2020, the Health Sciences Education Center opened its doors to serve as a new home to the Health Sciences Library and Wangensteen Historical Library of Biology and Medicine.
Our new home anchors the Health Sciences Education Center, providing technology rich environments and expertise that sparks innovation, collaboration, and problem solving — from the use of virtual reality to increase efficacy in Physical Therapy to 3D printing help visualize and teach complex concepts.
Learn more about the vision for these new spaces from Library Director, Janice Jaguszewski, which was built upon one key question, “How can we bring together librarian expertise, digital content, flexible spaces, and new technology to advance teaching and learning and really help prepare our students to become the next generation of health care providers?”
Help us realize our vision.
