Collage using illustrations from the James Ford Bell Library, by Darren TerpstraThis exhibit from the James Ford Bell Library features a wide range of maps and atlases produced by cartographers and printers from the 15th through the 18th century. These cartographers grappled with reconciling traditional world views with the constantly changing new information European travelers of all sorts brought back from around the globe.

When: Sept. 18, 2023 through Jan. 30, 2024
Where: Elmer L. Andersen Library, Bell Gallery (ground floor) | Parking & directions
Time: Open during library hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday; and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday) Please note: After Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023 building hours will change, and the building will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
