Visit Andersen Horticultural Library’s new exhibit “Metamorphosis” to explore the groundbreaking life and work of artist and naturalist Maria Sibylla Merian, her impact on our knowledge of metamorphosis, and how her art and science has inspired artists and authors in Minnesota!
This exhibit is a collaboration between Andersen Horticultural Library, ceramic artist Katharine Eksuzian; Joyce Sidman, author of The Girl Who Drew Butterflies; and Kim Todd, author of Chrysalis: Maria Sibylla Merian and the Secrets of Metamorphosis. The exhibit is curated in collaboration with Katharine Eksuzian, Joyce Sidman, and Kim Todd.
