Yoga study break is now Pilates study break in Wilson Library for spring semester

images of students doing mat pilates.Last fall, in collaboration with RecWell and the Carlson Undergraduate Wellbeing program, Wilson Library on west bank hosted a series of drop-in yoga study breaks on Fridays. It was a great success and we are pleased to continue to in spring semester but we are mixing up and moving to Thursdays and mat pilates!

All are welcome to join the mat Pilates Study Break  in the studio on the first floor of Wilson Library (west bank).  This includes people from all colleges including undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, instructors and staff.

This exercise is great for beginners and those seeking the mental benefits of exercise. All fitness levels are welcome.

The event is free and open to all. You do NOT need to have a RecWell membership. You do NOT need to be part RecWell’s Fit pass program. Bring a yoga/pilates mat if possible or there are some available to use.

Upcoming dates include:

  • Thursday, January 29 from 1:45-2:15
  • Thursday, February 5 from 1:45-2:15
  • Thursday, February 12 from 1:45-2:15
  • Thursday, February 19 from 1:45-2:15 through the end of the semester.
