What does the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) memo requiring that all federal funding agencies adapt a data sharing policy for their grantees mean for data management practices during the lifecycle of your research project? What must you write into a grant application? How do you know where to share your data? All of these topics and more will be explored in this session.
Every student experiences stress, and it’s important to find your strategies for taking care of yourself. In this workshop, we will use an app called Hoame to experience a guided meditation exercise. You will also learn how you can borrow a VR headset if you decide to make this part of your strategy. Leiwo’s research focuses on Finnish American socialist women’s history and the cultural history of climate. We will begin with an introduction to botanical art then the drawing will begin with exercises that emphasize the importance of looking closely at intricate details of natural autumnal specimens.
