Anyone can be a good photographer - you don’t need a fancy camera or a ton of technical knowledge! The workshop will focus on the basic concepts of what makes an engaging photograph and all you need is your mobile phone! The workshop will be a presentation with a short exercise to get you on your way to honing your skills to see and tell your travel stories through photography.

In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to use Bodyswaps, a tool for UMN students, staff and faculty to practice job interview skills and other interpersonal skills. This can be a start of your self-paced journey to become more confident applying for jobs and internships! Bodyswaps uses virtual reality to place you in a realistic setting where you talk to an avatar, and it can give you feedback such as whether you're coming off too confident or not confident enough. It tracks your head movements and body posture to give you advice about non-verbal communication.
