Interview Prep in Bodyswaps: A Toaster VR Workshop

The Toaster (Walter Library Basement) 117 Pleasant St. S.E. (Lower Level), Minneapolis, MN, United States

In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to use Bodyswaps, a tool for UMN students, staff and faculty to practice job interview skills and other interpersonal skills. This can be a start of your self-paced journey to become more confident applying for jobs and internships! Bodyswaps uses virtual reality to place you in a realistic setting where you talk to an avatar, and it can give you feedback such as whether you're coming off too confident or not confident enough. It tracks your head movements and body posture to give you advice about non-verbal communication.
