Bring a spooky book to read, select one from a pop-up library of fun books, or try the Libby app for fun ebooks or audiobooks. Join fellow readers including students from the University Book Club and learn more about the book club or get a book recommendation.

Libraries at Veterans Appreciation Event

The Libraries and University Archives will be hosting resource tables at the Veterans Appreciation Event in Coffman Union on Thursday, November 6 from 11:30-1:30. The Libraries will be hosting a pop-up library including fun books with information about Libraries and academic success services. We will have Libraries bookmarks, swag and maybe the prize wheel or button making. 

The University Archives will have a pop-up display of campus military history. 

The Veterans Appreciation Event is a community event hosted by University Veterans Services (UVS) to honor the service and commitment of the veteran and military members of our University community. This celebration is free and open to the public. There will be pizza, entertainment, and a community partner information fair. We look forward to seeing you there!

Yoga at Wilson Library Study Break

Need a relaxing study break? In collaboration with RecWell, Wilson Library on west bank is hosting yoga on Friday’s from 12-12:30 on the first floor. This class is great for beginners and those seeking the mental benefits of yoga. All fitness levels are welcome.

The event is free and open to all. You do NOT need to have a RecWell membership or be part of RecWell’s Fit pass program. Bring a yoga mat, if possible, or there will be some available to use. All are welcome including students, staff and faculty.

Tinker @ The Toaster Game Jam

Join us for Tinker @ the Toaster Fall 2025! This year, we're hosting Tinker as a Game Jam!

A game jam is an event where participants make games from scratch in a limited time frame. They're fantastic opportunities to expand your game development skills, meet new creative partners, and challenge yourself to innovate in new ways. Plus, you'll have a proof-of-concept game at the end to show off!

Teams at this jam can choose to make either a board/tabletop game or a video game. Games will follow a theme, which will be revealed at the kickoff event on Friday, November 7th. Over the course of the weekend, you'll get the opportunity to hear from industry professionals and University experts on all sorts of aspects of game design, development, and production. You'll also have the chance to get professional and player feedback on your game, and may even win cash prizes!
