Shop for used books, CDs and DVDs in a wide variety of subjects. This sale, organized by the Friends of the Andersen Horticultural Library, typically raises $10,000-$12,000 for the library. This sale takes place Friday, Oct. 6 through Sunday, Oct. 8, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, at MacMillan Auditorium, located in the Oswald Visitor Center at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, Minnesota. Come learn about the different types of audio equipment you can use to record (including ones for free checkout at the U of M Libraries!) as well as methods for planning, preparing for, and editing your recordings. Staff will be on hand to answer questions, do small demos, and provide you with resources to use as you embark on your audio adventure. Podcasting 101 will be a hybrid workshop.
