Join the Health Sciences Library for Stressbusters Tea & Treats on May 1 and May 2 from 11:00am-2:00pm at our service desk on the 5th floor of PWB. Need a complete break from cramming? Check out the HSL Makerspace for button making, 3D printing, vinyl stickers, sewing, or to make a card. The VR Studio is also open for enjoying gaming apps, along with tai chi, meditation, and other stress relieving/wellness apps. The Makerspace and VR Studio are open Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00-7:00pm and Wednesday and Friday from 12:00-5:00pm.

The University of Minnesota Libraries are pleased to announce and host “Play Again?”: An Online Mini-Symposium to be held May 3, 2024 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m CST. The theme for this online mini-symposium will be “Horror in video game music and sound.”

Meet with fellow students on Zoom and learn how to use Zotero to create your own database of citations, PDFs, images, webpages, video and audio files and more. Zotero can then be used to create citations in a large number of citation styles which can be added to Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Libre Office. We will send a zoom link to students who are registered once registration ends. Please note this library session is online only.
Learn about using EndNote to import citations, customize your account, and format your bibliographies and in-text citations. We'll also discuss using EndNote in conjunction with EndNote Online, a web-based version of EndNote freely available to current University of Minnesota students, faculty, and staff. We will send a Zoom link to students who are registered one day before the workshop.
