Toaster Makerspace Workshop: How to Finish 3d Prints!

Toaster Makerspace (Walter Library Basement) 117 Pleasant St. S.E. (Lower Level), Minneapolis, MN, United States

In this workshop, we’ll demonstrate the basics of finishing a 3D print, including sanding, filling gaps, priming, painting, and basic weathering and texturing techniques. Participants will practice sanding with guided instruction to ensure a smooth finish—you are welcome to bring your own prints for sanding, or you may use a provided practice print.

ONLINE: Introduction to Zotero (collect, organize and cite PDFs)

Virtual Event

Meet with fellow learners on Zoom and learn how to use Zotero to create your own database of citations, PDFs, images, webpages, video and audio files and more. Zotero can then be used to create citations in a large number of citation styles (APA, MLA, CSE, endnotes, footnotes, etc.) which can be added to Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Libre Office. Zotero is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, annotate, cite, and share research. The workshop is open to all disciplines.

Our engaging workshop will guide you through the basics of maneuvering the Cricut Design Space and gradually elevate you to mastering advanced techniques such as uploading and editing your own images. Let's embark on this exciting crafting journey together!

Registration is encouraged. You are encouraged to bring your laptop so you can get started in the Cricut Design Space.
