Shop gently used books of all genres, DVDs, and puzzles. This sale, organized by the Friends of the Andersen Horticultural Library, typically raises over $15,000 for the library. Both cash and credit cards are accepted at the book sale.

Drop in anytime during the hour to learn about Gravity Sketch VR, a 3D modeling program where you sketch in virtual and mixed reality. These sketches can be exported to CAD software, Unity 3D projects or 3D printed. This workshop is for anyone interested in design or virtual reality.

Meet with fellow learners on Zoom and learn how to use Zotero to create your own database of citations, PDFs, images, webpages, video and audio files and more. Zotero can then be used to create citations in a large number of citation styles which can be added to Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Libre Office.
Visit Elmer L. Andersen Library on Wednesday, Oct. 15, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., for an Open House event to mark the opening of the exhibit, “Beyond the Page: Preserving the Spirit of the University Through an Independent Student Press.”
This workshop will cover: screening and reading articles efficiently, using organizational tools (research logs and tables, tags, annotated bibliographies) to summarize and surface connections between sources, and practicing a formula for writing your lit review.
