Visit Elmer L. Andersen Library on Wednesday, Oct. 15, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., for an Open House event to mark the opening of the exhibit, “Beyond the Page: Preserving the Spirit of the University Through an Independent Student Press.”
Go behind the scenes at Elmer L. Andersen Library with Doors Open Minneapolis. Visitors will be able to tour the caverns 80 feet beneath the building, as well as see and learn about rare and unique collection materials, such as the 1602 Ricci map of the world, and view exhibits such as “Making Room,” about pioneering women architects, “Campus Kiosk: The Voice of Student Groups at the U,” and our very own 221b Baker Street sitting room.
